Capes
The cape is the most flamboyant piece of costume equipment. It is said that a true hero walks as if wearing one even when not. It serves little purpose but is fun to wave around while doing the Bat-tusy and lets face it you gotta have one cuz they're cool lookin'.

A good cape goes all the way around the cowl like this and encloses your entire costume when extra stealth is needed
